In An Emergency Dial 000

Fire Brigades operate a wide range of vehicles that support emergency operations by transporting specialist equipment and extra personnel as well as for incident command. These vehicles may also be used for personnel transport to meetings and training, fire community safety events, equipment maintenance and fundraising.

Maiden Gully Field Command Vehicle - FCV

Our Field Command Vehicle was designed by CFA for use in a range of incident management roles and represents five years of refinement of this design. It replaces a Ford Ranger Crew Cab with a canopy that the Brigade purchased in 2013. The present vehicle delivers enhanced incident management capability and ergonomic features and can tow a trailer. As well as its command role, we use it for personnel transport to incidents, training courses and meetings. It is also valuable for Fire Equipment Maintenance and Community Safety activities. The FCV was funded by Victorian Emergency Services Equipment Program 2021/22 with one-third of the cost met by community contributions and local fundraising.
