Training

Program for 2007

This year (2007), we have set specific targets for our Squad members and designed our training program to provide opportunities to achieve these.

Driver training has been highlighted as a need. The availability and comfort provided by the Fire Station allowed a separate training night held each month rather than combining meetings and training over winter. 

Skills maintenance activities included structural fire attack, HAZMAT, CABA, Navigation, Draughting, Wildfire Awareness and Occupational Hazards.
