In 2007, we have set specific targets for our Squad members and designed our training program to provide opportunities to achieve these.
Driver training has been highlighted as a need. The availability and comfort provided by the Fire Station allowed a separate training night held each month rather than combining meetings and training over winter.
Skills maintenance activities included structural fire attack, HAZMAT, CABA, Navigation, Draughting, Wildfire Awareness and Occupational Hazards.
